Resources to Promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)

This is a comprehensive list of resources, and while a considerable amount of care was taken while researching these resources, it does not cover nor represent every identity or perspective. This list was made with the intention to be a launching point to engage in the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) space and encourage further inquiry. Many resources listed are nationwide or specific to New York State and are only meant to be an entryway into how to find and connect with local community groups and organizations. Many of the resources like YouTube videos or cultural museums can be plugged directly into social media feeds, but remember that sharing these heritages and histories should be intentional and meaningful. We aren’t just recognizing historical accomplishments and celebrating trailblazers but should be actively engaging with these communities in the present and centering their experiences and uplifting voices of contemporary figures who are continuing the fight for progress.
